We're non-profit charity organization.

We're a group of students from different Universities all over Kenya, with a desire to change the current situation in public schools . 4 out of 5 students in these schools make it to the University, consequentially, the level of illiteracy and ignorance poses a threat to Africa. We dream of giving every child a chance to pursue their dreams by providing adequate textbooks and stationary with the little we have.

Elimisha strives to tackle inadequate education in Africa. We raise awareness, collect book donations, and provide educational support to marginalized schools and children's facilities in Kenya. Our mission is to empower every child to pursue their academic dreams by overcoming educational barriers.

Elimisha Annual Dinner

Our first Annual Elimisha Charity Campaign dinner was a blast, marking five years of dedication to a cause we hold dear! 📚 Here's to the awesome friends we've made, the great advice shared, and the amazing Friends of Elimisha who've lit up our journey! 🤝 Every moment of the night was pure magic, showing just how much fun giving back can be for our community and to 'elimisha' (educate) our 'jamii' (community)! We celebrate everyone who's pitched in with their time, resources, and passion to make a real difference in the academic lives of marginalized kids through Elimisha! 📚 Cheers and here's to many more moments of making dreams come true!

Elimisha premier league

Every fortnight, we organize exhilarating football games at South C as part of our efforts to positively impact the lives of young individuals. Our primary goal is to steer them away from the dangers of drug and substance abuse, while simultaneously fostering their self-esteem and promoting teamwork within our group. Through the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie, we strive to create a supportive and empowering environment where they we can thrive and develop essential life skills.

1st April 2023

Elimisha Environment Campaign

Members of the Elimisha Environmental Campaign joined forces with enthusiastic pupils from the AIC Ngong Hills Group of Schools for a meaningful mentorship program focused on tree planting. Together, we embarked on a mission to plant 500 trees, nurturing a greener future and instilling a sense of environmental responsibility in the young minds. Through hands-on experiences and knowledge sharing, we aim to cultivate a generation passionate about preserving our planet.

14th October 2023

Elimisha Charity Campaign Walk

A dedicated community gathered at Karura Forest, united by a cause dear to our hearts: education. However, the impact of our efforts extended well beyond the distance covered. The protagonists of our narrative were the 215+ participants in the walk. Each step they took narrated a tale of dedication, empathy, and a shared vision for a more enlightened world. Together, we not only raised 52,900 but also created opportunities for the students at Dzombo Primary School in Kwale County, Kenya. Additionally, another Ksh. 42,450 (as of October 15, 2023) was generated on the Elimisha Mchanga Platform, where you too can become a hero through your own contribution now.

Likunda Primary School Mentorship

In October 2023, a few members of the Elimisha team were fortunate to engage in a mentoring session at Likunda Primary School in Ukunda. The session comprised both career guidance and a peer talk. The students' warm reception and their enthusiastic participation throughout the event were truly inspiring, and we are already considering a revisit in the future.
The experience reinforced the belief that education is the key to unlocking boundless opportunities. Witnessing the eagerness to learn in these young minds served as a powerful reminder of the incredible potential within every child. Dandora slums Visit

On December 16, 2023, Elimisha ignited the holiday spirit with a heartwarming book drive in Dandora's slums, enriching young minds with books filled with knowledge and inspiration. Our journey didn't end with the distribution of literature; we also took a significant environmental step by planting seedlings along the Nairobi River. These saplings, a symbol of our dedication to nurturing young intellects and the environment, are set to improve air quality for Dandora's residents.
The day was further brightened with festive celebrations—laughter, candles, cake, food, games—creating lasting memories beyond the holiday season. This event was made possible thanks to the generosity of our alumni, volunteers, and supporters, whose kindness has left a lasting impact on the children's lives.
