On Friday, July 19, 2024, we successfully delivered your generous donations to Gakurari Primary School. The pupils were thrilled to receive: 240 CBC textbooks (PP1 to Grade 8), 450 exercise books, 3 boxes of sanitary pads, 325 pencils, 100 pens, 250 erasers and sharpeners, and 50 storybooks. We visited Undugu Camp, and it was truly eye-opening. Thanks to our team's amazing support, we didn't show up empty-handed – we brought a mix of cash donations, books, and other crucial supplies. As we handed out these items, the joy on the residents' faces was unforgettable. It really hit home how much of a difference we can make when we work together. The whole experience left us feeling humbled and more dedicated than ever to our cause.
Returning to Kibera Pride Children's Home after nearly three years felt like a homecoming. The excitement was palpable as we reconnected with the vibrant souls we'd missed for so long. From the moment we arrived, we knew it would be a spectacular day. And it truly was. Amid laughter, joy, dance, food, and games, we celebrated the academic achievements of 'our babies'. Their determination and resilience were truly inspiring. Thanks to our team's unwavering support, we provided much-needed donations to Kibera Pride. In October, we were excited to have embarked on our donation drive in Kwale, Kenya. Our focus was on two schools: Dzombo Primary School and Lulu Girls High School. Through our donations, we aimed to provide much-needed educational resources, including books, stationery, and learning materials, to support the students' academic journey. By investing in their education, we hoped to empower these young individuals and open doors of opportunity for their future success. Together, we made a lasting impact and contributed to the growth and development of these schools and their students.
In the Kariowa Ngara Slums, we made a meaningful impact by donating books to enrich the children's education.
