The Elimisha Charity Campaign recently partnered with the University of Nairobi on a research-focused Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project investigating the causes of poor quality education in marginalized areas. The initiative aimed to conduct an in-depth study of educational challenges, identify key factors affecting learning outcomes, and implement immediate interventions to address these challenges.

Project Background

Comprehensive Research Framework Development

The Elimisha Charity Campaign and the University of Nairobi invested several months in designing a comprehensive research framework to investigate the root causes of poor quality education in marginalized areas.

Kinango Constituency was selected as the case study area due to its representation of typical educational challenges faced in marginalized regions.

The project was structured to collect quantitative and qualitative data through questionnaires, interviews, and field observations, while simultaneously implementing targeted interventions to address identified challenges.
